Work in Progress This is currently on the easel, one of several works in progress. The working title, Girl with a Ferret, is a deliberate echo of the Leonardo da Vinci work entitled Lady with an Ermine. The sitter's pose is reminiscent of that work, although the da Vinci painting shows a head and torso while this is a full figure portrait. The background is still in a thin underpainting stage; the figure is more fully developed.
